PostSubject: Battery Help   Battery Help Icon_minitimeSun Aug 15, 2010 9:35 pm

I am thinking its about time for a new battery. As it happens, I don't know anything about batteries so what are some options i should look at, why are those batteries good and which is the best one for me?

Red and Yellow top Optimas get a lot of good reviews AFAIK, but I can't imagine a battery being too much of a big deal unless you're setting up quality sound systems and a bunch of electronics... I could be wrong though

I've never had an issue with Duracell AA. They've always lasted a really long time for me.

I have a red top battery myself had it in my 95.....now its in my 03...4 or 5 years old now....small battery with Tons of output..I had a full stereo system on my 95 and the battery ran it fine lol
A redtop is a gel cell type battery instead of the old fashion acid type battery...the gel cell tends to hold up better over time...can sit for months without going dead...Their the first step to upgrading your electrical system..which will need to be done if u ever want to run air compressors for bags or train horns...Or tons of lights..or a big stereo...
