End of Summer Get Together

I know there's still a little summer left but I thought that we could plan IN ADVANCE a get together for the end of the summer. We haven't all met up at once and I think this come be our first. Any suggestions on dates would be great. I'm usually good any weekend except for my drill weekends (one weekend a month). My September drill is 18-19.

I understand that everyone has jobs but lets try to get as many people together as possible. Also, where and when would be a good thing to discuss as well. Maybe grab something to eat locally, cruise around a bit. Just throw out suggestions. And this would be a good time to snap some pics of our cars and trucks as well.

just not September 11th...I have a end of summer Ranger bash down in indy...but!..
The weekend of the 25/ 26 ...would work..probably the 26th because I KNOW I dont work sundays...oh and the 26th is my 22nd b-day.... so Might as well spend it with a buncha friends!

the 25th and the 26th is the weekend of HIN so thasts a no can do for me

what about labor day weekend? I'll have the four door up and running hopefully by then and I'll be down all weekend working on it

Dustin -- I might not make it to the Ranger Bash... I just picked up a job on campus and it might interfere with the Ranger meet!

yeah i think labor day weekend would be a good weekend considering its a 3 day weekend. What day is what we need to discuss now, and then what we are going to do. Cameras and video cameras should be present.

I don't have my good camera on me right now.. That's back at home in some box so I'm probably not going to be taking any pics.. aha

Ok so how about Saturday, September 4th or Sunday, September 5th. Looks like its supposed to be partly cloudy, highs around 80 and lows around 60. We could meet up at my house and swim if people would be interested. If you don't know, I have a 9 foot deep inground pool with a slide and diving board. Shallow end is 3 or 4 foot deep. I'm gonna have to clean it all week to get it prepped for the weekend but I won't worry about it if no one wants to swim. I have plenty of parking so no worries on that.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

if it happens to fall on one of my weekends to work ill either have to come after work or try and trade someone days, just let me know in advance what day it is but i dont care either way lol

saturday if I dont have to work..but works slow right now so that shouldnt be a HUGE problem!

ok so Saturday it is. Now what do we want to do. Would everyone be fine with meeting in Veedersburg? It's kinda the central meeting place for everyone. We could hang out for a bit. Is everyone cool with blue and gold pizza? Maybe grab some food and figure out what else to do.

im fine with a half day event. now i know that some wont be able to meet up til later but thats fine. we just need to figure out what to do for the day. i figured for the most part we could just chill and talk about each others cars and trucks because we all know that we like to talk about them .

and maybe we can shoehorn a spare 302 into my truck sometime... or a 351W... THEN we'll definitely be wondering how to lay down that power

I think shoehorning a 302 would be just as easy, if not easier than loading up a turbo setup to my 120,000 mile engine
