| Someday, Yacob, you may touch my shifter. You as well, Nick. Although, I am having a noise problem with it. Since it isn't as insulated as the stock shifter, I can hear every damn thing going on in that transmission down to whine and chattering. Shouldn't be a problem once I find me some nice bucket seats and a center console to go over it and stuff full of insulation . | |

| Blow-off valve recirculated this weekend.. Truck doesn't stall so bad anymore, but it still tried to. It's also much quieter so it's more like a sleeper . I think I might be getting some compressor surge now, though I'm not sure... I gotta keep looking into it! Also, I found a place where I can get some mint cobra 17x9s on 275s / 285s with the anthracite finish with great tires for $600! I just have to save up some cash aha and just a quick idea of what it might look like... I never was good with shopping wheels / parts, though./ | |

| Best image of cobras on a ranger I have found so far... Not the exact same style, but they're cobras.. aha Other options include these Cragar V-5s: or Cragar Soft 8's... Which seem pretty sexy: The ranger with the Soft 8s sits lower than mine at 6/6 or 6/7, so I don't think I'd be tucking as much tire as him.. | |

| Truck is down for a while. Throwout bearing started going on me today and I can't get anywhere without grinding the clutch horribly. I'm broke too so it may be a while before I get it done..
Also, I'm pre-occupied next weekend, sooo I don't have much time..

| Found out the truck doesn't just have a bad TOB / slave, but the clutch also.. The guy that had the truck before ran it through 3 builds and 2 motors, probably far longer than the truck could go, especially since he slipped it a lot. I've ordered the following parts.
Mazda B3000 4-puck unsprung disk from clutchnet.com 1988 T-Bird Turbocoupe Flywheel 1988 T-Bird Turbocoupe Pressure Plate 1999 Ranger TOB / Slave Cylinder Rear main seal for the 2.5L (fix my oil leak) Pilot Bearing
Only thing I don't have yet is my clutch disc, which was supposed to be in today or yesterday but the company is a bunch of dumbfucks that didn't tell me they were out of stock of that kind, and they informed me that I'd be able to receive it by today or yesterday so I could redo my trans. Now I'm expecting it tuesday and will probably end up taking it to a shop to get it fixed since I don't have the time... Sitting on about $230 in cost which is pretty damn good, and $200 should be convincing enough for a shop to do it for me. Truck's been down for 2 weeks now, and I'm dying lol.

| Clutch is done.
Oil drain line from the turbo took a shit right after the clutch was done. I bought a $50 custom made line from Dependable Rubber on Farabee Dr to replace it, and it was causing oil to blow past the turbo seals. Went to Home Depot and purchased a heater / dryer gas line similar to what was already on the truck for $10, and it works perfectly. Sadly, it's bright yellow so anyone taking a good look into my engine bay will start noticing the rainbow colors all over the bay.
Lesson learned: more expensive, custom, industrial-grade stuff is not always the way to go. Especially when you don't know what exactly you're getting. Sometimes the cheaper shit used for other things is better suited for the job.
Oil drain line is done.
Truck is driving around and should be back in Fountain County within two weeks. It was supposed to be on campus today for a show, but I spent the morning fixing it. It'll be ready for the Grand Prix Car Show this Saturday. Gotta win me a trophy!

| Alright, starting to get tired of this damn thing lol. It's just been problem after problem after problem. Now it's not wanting to go past 85 - 90 mph (don't ask), it's like hitting a brick wall, and blows coolant out of the radiator cap. Haven't figured out where my oil leak is yet, and the valvetrain is tapping more and more (or a knock, hell if I know). I'm thinking the truck is due for another head gasket, sadly, not even 15k into the rebuild.. | |

| Not sure if everyone is aware, but this thing IS for sale. If you know someone that might be in the market for a toy, let me know. I would like 4k out of it, but I may work on price.. Since the engine rebuild the turbo has been rebuilt too, and its not even at 1000 miles (but might be there shortly). Rear drum brake just went out yesterday so I'm going to have that fixed. Also still has the issue of cutting out at 4500 but i'm looking into that now. Let me know if anyone is interested! (Members, friends, etc..)
