| so i went to obrien auto park today and ventured past the brand new mitsubishis when i figured i would see how much the 2011 eclipse gt spyders were, found out they were around $33,000 when i saw it, a 2011 mitsubishi lancer sportback ralliart, i was surprised that it had the same engine specs as an evo and it was cheaper than the eclipse at around $31,000, but for those of you who dont know what a lancer sportback is, its basically a lancer hatchback, its kind of intriguing but weird looking at the same time, could look pretty sweet with the right exterior mods though, i wonder what everyone thinks of this.

| mitsu needs to compete with the wrx wagon. Unfortunately they have both begun a price war that mimmicks the japanese one that occured in the 90's. The evo's and sti's are getting to be ridiculously overpriced. When the evo VIII first debuted, it was actually a good bang for buck car. Now it's up past 40k. Fucking rediculous.
Either the evo/sti will have to go down and price, or they will bow out and we won't see this for a while. Hell you can go a buy a nicely equipped 370z for a lot cheaper than an evo/sti, do bolt-on's, spank them from a dig and on a track, and still get 10x the poon. Choice is obvious to me
