ok so i ended up getting the 300zx and its an auto :/ o well but anywyas it wont shift into 3rd an 4th gear. any one here know what the problem is? if so let me know thanks

nice car, by the way, and it sounds like you either need a new transmission or you should def rebuild the old one

It sounds like it could be ur shift lenkage but without being able to look at it or even see what its doing I couldn't tell u. U don't always have to rebuild or buy new salty. Sometimes its an easy fix.

Sadly its a n/a but it hauls balls lol to 70 haha but anyways ya me an dad thought it might be the shift linkage or solenoid

yeah kinda sounds like linkage possibly.
