No you can not lol. Turbo timer is for me!

So I installed the last bolts that were missing and no more engine noise so all I need is a CV axle and a new battery.

*EDIT* I was going over my finances and I will have the car driving on the road midweek. I'm ordering my cv axle tomorrow and I'll have it in the car tuesday. So tuesday afternoon is what I'm shooting for.

It's been a little while since I've updated this thing. lol Well the celica is in covington now at my apartment. It used to run and drive, not exactly run the best but still ran, but now it won't start. I've ordered a new fuel filter to put on in hopes of that being the issue. We'll see what happens. It was definitely nice driving my car around for a while though.

I currently have about 62 miles on the new motor.

Whats up everyone. It's been a while since I've updated so here goes. I ordered a new fuel filter and it helped out on the starting problem a bit. Still didn't want to start sometimes though.

Last night I was over at Alex's house changing my oil and we got to talking about the symptoms of my car and everything. He kept mentioning timing so I asked him if he wanted to check it to make sure. Sure enough, my intake cam was retarded one tooth. Advanced the intake cam forward one tooth (which was a bitch to do btw) and the celica sprung to life. It's like a whole new car now.

I will admit, I've gotten on it a few times to test her out. I did find out that it cuts out around 6300rpms. CEL pops up then will go away after I get out of the 6000rpm region. So I'm doing research on that. Other than that, she's running great.

Now comes all the other little things I need to get fixed.

-Body work

-Power steering

-Wheel bearings

-Coilover upgrades (stock struts are shot)

-Coolant leak

Ok new update!

I pulled the timing cover to fix the coolant leak. So far it hasn't been leaking anymore.

I was maxing out my stock injectors so alex lent me an extra set of gts injectors and vwalla, the celica is back to go kart status <-- that's a good thing.

even though this car is not mine i still miss it greatly
