I'm doin the ls2 swap. Faster than the lt1 could ever be lol.

are you doing the 6sp swap also, or leaving it an auto?

haha, I remember that race. I was on the phone with my buddy Thomas Morgan who was there with Matt. All I remember was that Matt got beat. That Mustang had a tranns brake if I remember right, pretty sick car from what I heard on the phone.

Matts car has an LT1, i/h/e, and 3:73 gears I think. The gears are stock. The motor isn't blown but it has some problems and may as well be.

I never thought he would sell it either. He told me that he would not sell it to me cause he did not want to see somebody else driving his car around Veedersburg.

Damn its a small world that someone remembers that race. I'd ask you about the big black truck there too if you were there. Mustang was I/H/E Weld Wheels M/T Streets gear and yes it did have a transbreak but it was only a three speed trans.

Randomness but why the hell isn't matt on here yet?

Not sure but I think the kid in the Mustang is named Travis and he has an older brother named Arron, they use to race dirtbikes.
If I remember Travis got the car wrecked or something and completely rebuilt it. Am I right or am I way off?

Correct. Car was pretty beat up when he got it. It's amazing that it would stay straight at the track. He has a 514 for it but that's been for years and it won't happen anytime soon. I still remember hearing that car rolling into attica

i remember someone telling me about this race, prolly mitchell but i dont think i ever saw the mustang
