Pics of MECA world finals 2009

I didn't know where to post this and since it was in the past I figured that it would fit here.

I don't think that anyone here has seen any of this yet but these are pics of my fellow Team Hybrids members and myself at MECA world finals last year.

For those that don't know what MECA is, MECA is a car audio organization that holds events all year in SQ (Sound Quallity) and SPL (All about the bass) all over the United States and then at the end of the year they hold a world finals for their top competitors to determine who is the best.

Prolly, I use to be there all of the time but I don't get to go there and hang out with RP and the guys much anymore because I work all of the time now. I don't even have time to go to many competitions this year.

My picture in my avatar was taken in the SoundCheck parking lot actually.

I think once my car is up and going, I think alpineandy and I should set my car up for SQ.

Your car has some stuff now, a new headunit is a good start in the right direction followed by a little fiberglass, angle iron and a welder

your last post makes me realize that i know absolutely nothing about car audio

haha. you and me both buddy. I know a decent amout about speakers and head units and maybe some amps but custom work....not so much. I've never been much of a fabricator

this is why when i am ready to do car audio, i want mitchell to do it

I'm pretty sure he will ASSIST you but you're going to have to do the work. Always trying to get others to do your work salts. lol

Jake knows all about it. I told him what to do and how to do it but he did almost all of it by himself and I watched for the most part.

i dont know shit about car audio..when my celica is back up i am going to HATE getting my sound system working right again its going to be a nightmare..the person that had it before me hacked a bunch of shit up

That is the worst when you are doing an install in a car that the previous owner has already screwed shit up on. My Lexus I got off of one of my team mates so it already had a system in it and he owns a shop in Evansville. I keep finding shit every day that I feel was done half ass. Trouble shooting other peoples problems drives me nuts which is why I don't work at a shop.

i didnt mean that i wanted andrew to do it for me, i would love to learn how to do it, it will just take forever for me to learn, but it will be worth it to tell people, "I did this"

Yeah, I take pride in tell people, "hey you see that car setup. Yeah, I did that." I love the clean, no wires showing, look. It just looks so good with the wires hidden and the amps and/or crossovers set up right.
