95 eclipse gs

This is my car, i dont have anything major done its got a short throw shifter and a 3a racing exhaust, thats the only performance mods i have. I wanna turbo it, put some rims on it, and get it painted, maybe a body kit.

Who niteshaded your taillights? Looks like they just took a piece of masking tape and laid it over the "ECLIPSE" on the back...

yea that part looks like crap, and i would say dont put a body kit on it, body kit=poop, but decent starter, isnt there another 2g that looks exactly like yours running around town?

yeah the body kit was kinda idk if i wanna do cause around here they get tore up you know what i mean

IMO Making it a sleeper is always the best idea, that or subtle exterior mods. Tasteful, not gaudy

dont be hatin on the ricers i love ricing certain body kits can make the eclipse look even more BA than it is

don't listen to mitsulover, thats his OPINION. Before you get rims or a bodykit, I say you should lower it. cars with rims or bodykit down look right at all if you haven't lowered them. too much wheel gap. plus you'll handle a lot better.

when you get lowering springs save up and get a good brand and if so get a whole coilover set because coming from someone that had his car lowered with crappy srings, lol. i put some crappy srings on and it rode like crap like so bad i went and bought the stock strut assembly again, it looked tight but rode like crap im just tryin to help you out here. also about the body kit, instead of a body kit i would try and do a 97-99 front bumper conversion like landon w did, but that is just my opinion

Depends on how low you want. there are different drops you can get or you can go the coilovers route and pick how low you want to be. Yes, you will be sacrificing how the car rides. Bumps will be a lot more noticeable BUT you'll handle like a champ. My car is dropped on Tanabe DF210 springs (2.5in drop) and it handles amazing.

yeah but those are good springs what im trying to lean him away from is like ebay ones or something like that because i think had ebay ones. the guy who ordered them for me i think screwed me over pretty bad, but whoever has riden in my car with those lowering spings will tell you that you couldnt just feel all the bumps you could feel the car wanting to break in half

ah i see. YES, DO NOT ORDER EBAY SPRINGS. Most of the parts on ebay are knockoffs. Imitator brands that don't perform anywhere near what the actual ones do. Yes, I do order some things off of ebay BUT I make sure that I put in the actual name brand of what I'm looking for.

i have the megan racing lowering springs that lower 2 inches all the way around and i dont mind the ride, it makes it feel more like a sports coupe should, but i could stand to be lower yet. and you will love how your eclipse handles after the drop, trust us

i have eibach sportlnes..they are great springs..i am pretty low and my car handles amazing..although i am going with a different setup here soon so i am super low and hella flush..im gonna go with the Ksport coilovers

he doesnt have a 4g63? does this car have a 4g63? i thought thats what the naturally aspirated GS's were

the gs and the rs both have the 420A engine and the gst and gsx have the 4g63T

yes it would be...but would it be lighter than the evo? because the evos are lighter than you kyle..how they are lighter is beyond me haha

no he'd still be heavier but he would have all that power to a front wheel drive if the tranny will bolt up so he'll still be fuckin quick for being heavier
