i did some research on it because i was looking for a second gen and the gs and rs are dirt cheap, if i can remember right the 4g63 engines dont bolt right in, i think its a bitch to swap but i dont remember

its a royal pita to be honest since nothing drops in. New mounts are needed

swaps are swaps..you cant expect everything to work as planned

It's not your average drop in honda swap. Everything electrical has to be re-ran, old mounts have to be cut off, and new ones welded on in totally different spots. Plus things have to be relocated. You have to get the mounts just right or else you will face axle binding issues. I looked into converting a 99 gs as my daily to a 4g63t monster. Not worth it imo

for the price of swaps you can have a car with a better platform...not bagging on swaps but thats just my OP

yup. Funny how the motor everyone dumped for a b series swap now you can have a fully boosted d-series menace for cheaper than that

u cant find clean gsx's for 5k. idk about gst's. and on top of all that. motor mounts are bolted on. u dont have to weld anything. and if u do itd only be one. it probably wouldnt be worth the money in the end but its not soo crazy.

and ya everyone went with the b series cuz its a DOHC motor. the d series is so simple in the end of the honda run, the b could make more eventually with the right mods

Yes but dollar for dollar d series is cheaper. Bisimoto engineering has a 700whp wagaovan that is rockin a d-series so something is going right

I think the wagovans look pretty slick when done right but the fact that it's far from being a "pussy-magnet" in a stock fashion keeps me away from them.

if wagovans were decent, i would have heard about them before tonight, not saying that i am up to date with all tuning activity but they are hideous in my eyes
