Only pushing 285 right now, I'm looking for 350 at least. Got some work to do this coming summer but for right now it's get the header fixed and have the thing survive winter aha.

I'm sure just a few more psi and I'll be running somewhere around 300..

I can't wait til January when I'm boosted

I believe with a good tune and slurpie on e85 with more boost that truck would be in the 400 range.

I just got home from hanging out with everyone and I decide to check my bank account to see if I could maybe buy a part for my car (head bolts since they're the cheapest). When my account balance shows up, I'm kinda confused because its showing more money than I thought I had. Turns out, I got paid more money from the army for my training. Yay!

So I decided to buy the most expense part I had left......my clutch

All I have left now is head bolts and valve lifters!

I love stories like this. From reading it, I was waiting for my f'n account got hacked! Or something of that nature.

I got to get some more bolt-ons for the slow gt.

Well I'm officially headless. I sent out the head today and it's on its way to Michigan to be fitted with brand new valve lifters. Oh happy day! The head will be returning with not only new valve lifters but also with some head bolts to finish off this long process of a build. Then comes the fun part of dropping it into the car.

The thought of you being able to drive soon is scary aha

I think i just jizzed in my pants a little. i just thought of this cars first day on the road. i see that break in being done in no time at all.

Ive been doing a LOT of research of how to break it in. Some say drive it moderately, others say drive it harder. Very few people say baby it around. It all has to do with the cylinder walls and the piston rings seating properly.

Well I've got good new and bad news. Good news is I've paid for the valve lifters. Bad news is they went to take off my cams yesterday and found that my exhaust cam is broken in half! WTF FML!!! So I filed a claim with the post office, because I did insure the package, and hopefully they will be paying for a new set of cams. I'm so freakin pissed. Another setback. I was really hoping to have this on the road before christmas too.

Head will be shipped back on friday with the new cams and valve lifters. All I need is head bolts and a cv axle and I'm all set. Need to get the fluids as well.

ahh the little things. be ready to change your oil often. Like probably six or seven times within 300 miles.
