UPDATE!!!

The head is paid for and will be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday. He wasn't in the shop yesterday to send it out so I have to wait. No biggie though. So the motor will be dropped in next week later in the week. I do have drill next weekend to but we aren't going to Camp Atterbury so I'll still get to come home saturday afternoon to work on the car more if its not done already.

Talked to MWR (Monkeywrench Racing aka Celica shop) today and tuning my car will be around $550 to $675 for a full tune. I'm pretty happy with that price so I'm going to tune through them. Just need a trailer to get it there.

What are you using to tune your car with? There's a shop in thorntown called pro dyno tech. They're tuning prices are reasonable and they do pretty good work. They've actually tuned a lot of all-motor hondas.

You going to use their black box for tuning? All it is is unichip software, which is outdated by technology standards and there are better products out there. For a good cheap option that also allows for timing control I would look into perfect power's smt-6 tuner.

So have I. A lot of promises to the tiburon community about running their sds system @ 10psi with their black blox for tuning. Setup made 300whp but popped a lot of motors in the time being. If you plan on running their vortech unit I strongly suggest running with a fmic and using a different tuning software. It was later determined that 8psi for tiburons was more than enough and the stock rods did not like ten
