Head is torqued down, cams are in and torqued, cam gears are on, flywheel is torqued, I need to put on the timing cover and water pump and valve cover. I need to put my clutch on as well.

I'm glad to see that this build is finally coming to an end.

i hope we start putting it in the car today wont be long now... to bad u have to play army man this weekend.

On the topic, how are you getting the engine into the car anyway? It's the middle of winter, there's snow / ice everywhere, and the times I've been out at your place I haven't seen an engine hoist?

Ordered the cv axle and it'll be in tomorrow. I have to check to see if my nuts and bolts I ordered came in at toyota. If they did, the motor will go in TODAY. Even though its freakin cold out, I'm putting that motor in.

The motor is in. It started up, a little rough but it started. I had Nick start the car and it idled pretty good but once the cam idle kicked in it died. Im guessing the ECU hasn't yet got used to everything yet. I tried starting it and it wouldn't do anything, it just clicked and that was it. Possibly my starter has gone bad?

battery good? Alternator good? Just a click means not enough juice normally.

its not the click of no juice its a load click of the started trying to work but not haven enough life left to turn...

sounds like the solenoid has taken a dump. Are there sparks comming from the starter? And have you tried bumping the starter?

yeah we tried bumping it but no luck.

Well the weather put a hold on me getting the car driving on the road. I still have some small things yet to do to get the car finished completely. Also tweaking with it to fix some bugs. It's coming along nicely though.
